San Francisco, April 21, 2017 – Dedrone, a security company that developed the world’s first software to detect drones and protect high-value airspace from drone threats, today announced the integration of their proprietary drone detection software into IACIT, a Brazilian Strategic Defense Company’s DRONEBlocker solution. DRONEBlocker will be deployed at airports in Brazil, and represents Dedrone’s continued efforts to strategically integrate their technology with global partners and existing detection solutions.
According to Robson Augusto, South America Sales Manager of Dedrone, “IACIT's DRONEBlocker integration with the Dedrone Dronetracker detection solution has become a full airspace protection system. IACIT DRONEBlocker has enabled drone blocking without disrupting communications at airports, allowing maximum protection without interfering in the aeronautical operation of airports." IACIT, a Brazilian strategic defense company, is active in the development and technological capacity of products and systems applied to defense and public security, CNS / ATM, meteorology and telemetry. They have integrated DroneTracker software into their detection offerings. The integration DroneTracker with IACIT's DRONEBlocker Electronic Countermeasure System (ECM) was a success celebrated by both companies. The DRONEBlocker system has been tested and succeeded in airports with varying conditions, enabling an efficient integrated solution and a highly competitive cost. The effectiveness of the system reaches the point of detection and neutralization of the threats, even before the drone takes flight.
Reinaldo Gonçalves, Director of Sales and Marketing at IACIT adds, "The combination of Dedrone's detection technologies with IACIT's blocking system has made it possible to create a complete high-efficiency anti-drone system at an extremely competitive cost, enabling the high level of satisfaction we have achieved with our customers.”
