Sales Operations Manager

Position

Ready to build the commercial operations for the fastest growing lower airspace security company in the world? Reporting to Dedrone’s Head of Sales, as Dedrone’s Sales Operations Manager you will own the process to do just that. You’ll be responsible for leading and managing revenue growth through the development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of sales strategies, systems, processes, and initiatives. Primary activities will include CRM systems management, sales process optimization, deal flow management, and revenue forecasting, reporting and analysis.

  • Process – define, optimize, and enforce the process for the customer journey, from top of the funnel through onboarding. This includes handoffs from SDR to sales, opportunity stages within Salesforce, handoff between sales and CS, etc.
  • Manage commission process; from quota setting to calculation of quarterly commissions
  • Define sales policies, processes, and system requirements; work with cross-functional teams on ongoing change management as business priorities evolve
  • Directly support the sales team in regularly identifying gaps and opportunities to evolve and define new processes to maximize productivity and efficiency
  • Analysis – provide analysis and decision support around revenue forecasting, pipeline analysis, and for specific deals
  • Proactively perform data exploration on customer data to identify operational insights; assist with ad hoc analyses, other business operations, sales, marketing, customer success data driven projects
  • Reporting – own reporting of key metrics in Salesforce, including executive and management dashboards
  • Own reporting of key metrics and create dashboards in Salesforce, Looker, and Excel to drive Sales and Business Development leadership decision making
  • Be the “source of truth” for key company metrics, such as opportunity creation and conversion, sales rep performance, etc.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to improve sales productivity including deal size and velocity, close rates, and bookings
  • Systems – manage the implementations and integrations of systems used by various go-to-market functions including: Sales, Outreach, Marketing, and Customer Success.
  • Maintain and enhance our CRM system, prepare reports and dashboards, implement and communicate new processes and updates to team members
  • Data hygiene and management, list/contact management
  • Own administration and adoption of Sales efficiency tools; provide training and measure adoption / productivity impact of tools

Qualifikationen

  • 3-5+ years progressive experience in Sales/Business Operations, Business Planning and Strategy, in a high growth, fast-paced start-up
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university. Technical degree or MBA a plus
  • Ability to create and foster a high performing and metrics driven environment; strong analytical skills and a structured approach to solving unique business problems
  • Able to work independently, within teams, and cross-functionally with excellent communication skills (written, verbal, presentation); outstanding attention to detail, and sense of project ownership
