Getting Started with DroneTracker Software

This year we’ve put a lot of focus on making the Dedrone solution super easy and quick to deploy. We introduced the Dedrone Cloud in the spring, eliminating the need for on-premise IT infrastructure. Later this year we enabled RF Sensors to communicate to the cloud via LTE so there’s no need to provision anything IT — not even an Ethernet port.

In sum, deployment is pretty straightforward: mount the sensor, turn it on, and log in to the Dedrone Cloud. Away you go!

After getting started so quickly, some users ask: “What’s next?” We created a short screencast to cover the four most important tasks you should do in the software once your RF Sensor is up and running:

  • Configuring the map
  • Adding a sensor
  • Configuring notifications
  • Adding more users to the system
